About Us

Our Vision

At Extreme Sports Academy, we believe adventure is the ultimate teacher. It challenges, inspires, and empowers, unlocking the potential within every young athlete. Our mission is to provide a space where kids can thrive, mastering sports like skateboarding, parkour, and climbing while building the confidence, resilience, and teamwork skills that last a lifetime.

Through our progress logbook, we guide students to track their achievements, set meaningful goals, and reflect on their growth, both on and off the field. Safety and encouragement are at the core of everything we do, ensuring every experience is both exciting and empowering. By learning to embrace challenges and overcome obstacles, kids gain essential life skills like discipline, focus, and risk assessment.

But Extreme Sports Academy is about more than athletic development—it’s about community. We foster an environment where kids connect, support one another, and form lifelong friendships. From seasonal camps to team-building activities in the stunning surroundings of Sitges, we create moments that inspire and unite.

Our vision is to shape fearless, well-rounded individuals who approach life with courage, positivity, and a sense of adventure. By blending extreme sports with personal growth, we’re helping kids discover their best selves and prepare for the challenges ahead.

Our playground

At Extreme Sports Academy, we believe that respecting and preserving our environment is fundamental to the spirit of adventure. The landscapes we explore—whether beaches, parks, or urban skate spots—are our playgrounds, and protecting them is essential. We engage our students in meaningful conservation activities, like beach clean-ups and park restoration, teaching them to care for the spaces that fuel their passions. These hands-on efforts foster a deep appreciation for the natural world and the importance of environmental responsibility.

Sustainability is also about mindset. We encourage students to embrace creativity and resourcefulness, showing that you don’t need elaborate setups or costly gear to unlock adventure. Even within our team, calisthenics exemplifies the value of doing more with less, highlighting how simplicity can lead to incredible results.

By blending eco-conscious practices with the spirit of exploration, we inspire young athletes to become stewards of their environment—individuals who not only seek adventure but also ensure that future generations can do the same.

Meet the Team

Axel Sapera

Founder & Operations

Meet Axel, a 29-year-old adventurer driven by his passion for extreme sports. From the start, the thrill of adrenaline and pushing boundaries defined his journey.

Since age 11, skateboarding and snowboarding became his obsession. He quickly moved into competition, winning Spanish snowboarding championships and entering European contests. In Barcelona, he competed in skateboarding across streets and skateparks, winning local competitions and landing sponsorships from top brands like Santa Cruz.

A severe knee injury eventually forced him to step back from competitive snowboarding, but it didn’t stop his drive. Looking for new ways to challenge himself, he discovered skydiving, enduro, kitesurfing, wakeboarding, cliff jumping, and more.

For a while, Axel balanced his passion for extreme sports with a 9 to 5 marketing job at a global agency until he was ready to go all-in on his dream. Now, as the founder of Extreme Sports Academy, Axel is committed to sharing the life-changing impact of pushing limits with the world.

Fani NARVAEZ

Camps Coach

Fani is an active, creative person with a deep passion for sports and working with children. For over 12 years, she practiced snowboarding—a sport that left a lasting mark on her life and taught her the values of effort, perseverance, and self-improvement. She also worked in specialty shops and for a snowboard and skate gear distributor, allowing her to stay closely connected to that world both professionally and personally.

After moving away from Andorra, she had to step back from snowboarding and everything that world represented. Although it was a difficult change, it led her to a new and fulfilling path: working with children. Their energy, joy, and way of seeing the world inspire her and make her feel alive and young every day.

Extreme Sports Academy has been a beautiful opportunity for her to reconnect with snowboarding and everything it means to her—while sharing that passion with the younger generation. Being able to unite these two important parts of her life—sports and childhood—fills her with purpose. She enjoys every moment, every activity, and every smile, with the joy of continuing to grow and give from the heart.

Lucas Roca

Scooter Coach

Lucas is passionate about sports and the sea. At just 16 years old, he already has over a decade of experience in freestyle scooter riding—a sport that has taught him discipline, technique, and passion. He has taken part in several competitions and enjoys every moment on his scooter, whether he's training or teaching others.

In addition to scootering, Lucas also practices skiing and kitesurfing, which keeps him constantly connected to nature and challenges him across different environments—from snow to water. He’s fascinated by marine life and everything related to the ocean; whenever he gets the chance, he loves exploring, learning, and enjoying this special environment.

Lucas also has a real talent for working with children. He’s patient and loves passing on the knowledge he’s gained over the years. That’s why he’s currently training to become a certified scooter instructor: he wants to share his experience, inspire younger riders, and promote values like respect, self-improvement, and a love for sports.

After riding for so many years, he has become a hybrid rider, with experience in both bowl and street, and he is ready to teach and show his skills to the younger generation.

Adrià is eager to teach and to show that you can always go further — whether young or old, with effort and perseverance, every dream can come true.
